For long years, as well as it is performed with the aim of individual sports, city tours with balloons are also performed during regional activities in touristic regions of our country.

Balloon takes off with heating of liquid propane gas filled into it. You can stay on air for long periods with a calm flight under appropriate wind (under 10 km/h). Structure

Wings delta wing has approximately 25 - 30 kg weight, and 10 wing long when it is opened. (folded up standard 4 m) There are beginner, intermediate and advanced class wings. Beginner class training wings are used during training, when experience gained intermediate class wings can be used for flight. Equipments of Paragliding

The paraglide is a simple instrument. However, it is the outcome of long, painstaking and complex design studies. Length differences of the ropes or, simple differences in the cutting of the fabric, may cause much better or worse conclusions. Here are the sections of ‘hill parachute’ for you:

CANOPY: The fabric part of the 0bject is called ‘canopy’ or ‘wing’. Canopy is made of two layers of fabrics folded onto each other, and it is meant to collect the air inside when on air. In order for the air to be able to fill into the wing, front side, which is called ‘attack side’, must be open, and the back side that prisons the air inside, which is called ‘escape side’ must be closed. ÖLÜDENİZ - BABADAĞ

Location: Mount Baba, which is in the province territory of Fethiye of Muğla city, is 7 km inside from the coastal line. It rises just after the Ölüdeniz (Blue Lagoon) beach and faces just towards to south. You can reach to take off runway via a 45 minutes from Ölüdeniz stabilize but nearly smooth road.

Paragliding in Turkey

Parachute, which is lied on a inclined and high hill, is filled with air with the running of pilot and take off with pilot. Periods of the flights can continue for kilometers / hours in connection with the experience of pilot and performance of the materials used. Tunceli - Mercan (Munzur) Mountains

The northeastern extension of the central Toros (Taurus) range, the Munzur range straddles both the Tunceli and Erzincan provinces. Mt. Akbaba, at 3462 meters, is the highest summit in the Mercandagi range. The limestone geological formation of these mountains creates a rugged profile.

Erzincan, a major city north of the mountain range and accessible by air, rail and road, is the base from which an ascent on the northern face can be attempted. (more…)

Van - Süphan Mountain

Mount Suphan, a magnificent dormant volcano rises from the northwest shores of Lake Van. Throughout the winter, snow falls on Suphan reaching three to four meters. The mountain’s steep slopes and snow blanket combine to make it a good location for “Heli-skiing” - using helicopters to drop you off on the slopes for an adventure of high mountain skiing.

Trips and Climbs
The easily accessible southern and eastern flanks of Suphan are the preferred faces for ascending the mountain; they both offer spectacular views. To climb from the eastern flank take the coast road that circles Lake Van. In the stretch between Adilcevaz and Ercis, turn north to Aydinlar village. From there you continue on to Kicgilli village where you engage a guide to lead you in your ascent. The climb from the south begins at the village of Harmantepe. (more…)

Rize - Kaçkar Mountain

Looking like a pristine natural park, the Kackar Mountains between Rize and Hopa have a dazzling array of plants and animals, clear blue lakes, green forests and razor-sharp glaciers which can be seen year-round. The highest peaks in the range are Altiparmak (3480m), Kavran (3932m) and Vercenik (3710m).

Every year hundreds of climbers visit Kackar Mountain, whose southern face offers an easy climb. If there was no fog, there is a magnificent view of the mountains of the eastern Black Sea. The northern face is usually for more experienced climbers, with the opportunity to visit the thermal springs at Ayder on the trip down. (more…)

Niğde Aladağlar

nigde-aladag.jpgThis mountain range, is in the provinces of Kayseri, Nigde and Adana, has a wide variety of plant and animal life and because of this a 54,524 hectare area was declared a national park in 1995.

In this range there are three peaks of 3700m, many more over 3000m, with numerous lakes. In the spring, a large number of lakes are formed from the melting snow but the in dry summer season most of them evaporate. Only a few, fed by underground water sources, remain by the end of the summer. (more…)

Mersin - Bolkar Mountains

The Bolkar mountains, which form the Turkish extension of the Alps, begin in Resadiye in the southwest and run along the southern coast of Turkey until they connect to the Zaganos Mountains in Iran.

There are many peaks over 3000m in this range. Medeksiz (3524 m.) is the highest peak in the range, and Meydan has a very good campsite. About 45 minutes southwest of Meydan is Karagol (2650m), another good camping spot, and in June the lake is surrounded on all sides by beautiful wild-flowers. The nomadic Yoruk people, who originate from Central Asia, still live in this area with traditions and roots unchanged for thousands of years. (more…)
